Emanuele Capobianco is the Chief of Health and Nutrition in UNICEF Mozambique. Emanuele trained as a medical doctor in Italy, and specialized in public health in low income countries at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He has worked with UNICEF, the World Bank and the World Health Organization in Africa (Somalia, South Sudan, Eritrea), in South Asia (Afghanistan, India) and in the Middle East (Yemen, Egypt). His main areas of expertise are health systems in fragile states, and communicable diseases. Emanuele is a marathon runner, and the happy father of two girls.
